Car 15

We had a brilliant day out today on the Seaton Tramway. The ticket means you can get on and off at any of the halts. The track takes you close to Seaton Wetlands so we got off near there and spent a very enjoyable hour watching the sandmartins feeding their young on the nesting bank. The end of the line is at Colyford- an interesting Devon village. The extra is the village roundabout. The significance of Car 15 is that we were married on 15 July 1972 53 years ago. On our return to our room at the Premier Inn there was a card, two glasses, and a bottle of Prosecco. Amazed and delighted. Very impressed. It was a chance conversation at breakfast with a member of staff who asked what mischief we were getting up to today. People are wonderful. Thank you Premier Inn . Bird of the day - sandmartin.
