Last Of…..!!!

The birthday flowers ….they did well considering our unexpected heatwave last week….which has now of course come to a dramatic end…!!
As you possibly see in the extras…Mel was not impressed…..
She is a ‘solar-powered’ hound and loves her bed out in the sunshine..!

Had a visit to my chiropodist today and had another painful problem sorted…my last (official one anyway) to this lady ….whom I’ve known for years…she is retiring as her hubby is unwell….I’ve shed some tears as she knows me (and my feet)!!! so well that I’m not sure who I’ll be able to trust from now on….!…
I hate change from professionals like this and I suppose it’s an ‘age’ thing…it was the same when my GP retired too..!!

And today is St. Swithins Day…..and we’ve had a very wet day….!!!!
My late Mam RIP loved the folklore stories around the Saints days and of course this one could mean another 40 days of rain….!
This one has always made me laugh because we will definitely always be guaranteed another 40 days of rain here in Ireland…!!
