Nice!
I've known about Moorcroft all my life. My mum's parents had a beautiful bowl which had been a wedding present to them in 1923, I have it now. It was always on their side board and I always loved it.
Today I was thrilled when two Moorcroft vases came into the charity shop and I was able to pass them on. I rather think they'll be heading to eBay. This blue one is Anemone pattern the other was the more unusual green background.
Ali took the girls to the dentist this morning, then took them in to nursery for the rest of their day. She and I we headed over to Denny in the car. The handle on her buggy broke yesterday and it's rather an essential for them going on holiday soon. She found the same model on Market place yesterday at a good price so we went to get it. On our way back we stopped in Linlithgow at the Crannog Cafe where the food is always lovely.
It was not a nice day for driving, the rain was of the smeary type and there was lots of spray from the traffic. I realised how long it is since I've driven on the motorway in such conditions.
Once we got back home, I left my car with Ali and brought hers over here. It's due its MOT tomorrow so we'll drop it off at Restalrig for her.
I had my shift in the charity shop this afternoon where it was surprisingly busy in spite of the rain. I may have taken close to £200 pounds over my two hours on the till.
I'm tired this evening though. Think we may have a lazy dinner. I've discovered the pizza place in our row of shops does delicious fresh pasta dishes and a plate of comfort food Carbonara sounds like just what I need
