Or bun as I called them growing up. Princess has been busy filling her long empty days of nothing to do!

Anyway, rough night due to itchiness and hot/cold nonsense. Worked this morning. MrRoly collected the steroids at lunchtime and I gave in to fatigue about 2 and returned to my pit.

After tea, the steroids clearly started to kick in so I did an hour or so of work then sat downstairs to watch TV for the first time since we came back from holiday - Task Master final and another Handmaid. Somewhat contrasting telly really.

As I post this at bedtime, swellings are noticeably reduced everywhere and new patches changing colour suggesting they are being defeated before they can establish fully. All still itchy but the 3 different antihistamines I’ve just taken should help with that with the paracetamol taking care of the painful patches.

Optimism reigns for a good nights sleep (that happy place - post excess itchiness and pre-steroid superwoman zone)
