Birthday on the Green

Last night, when Fabio & Ellie were helping us put the awning up, they mentioned a birthday celebration on the Green today for the other neighbour whom we have been getting to know at No. 10.

All we had to do was bring a bottle and nibbles, so after running the hoover through at the start of a new week, we went into town to run some errands (bank, post office, B&Q) and then went to the large M&S Food store that wasn't there six years ago!

They have some amazing deals in this country. We decided on a pizza and cider, and had enough time for G to prepare it before it was time to head out to the Green. We met several new people. It was great. I took my little JBL Go speaker, which helped create a real party atmosphere, so much so that we moved into a group member's lodge, and the girls pretty much danced the night away! It was positively chilly tonight. Poor G. She had short trousers and open shoes. It took her ages to thaw out!
