Having made a very last minute booking onto an owl experience for tomorrow I headed up to the local shop via the ranges to buy some lunch to take with me.

Everything is looking very dry and crispy, despite the  bit of rain we had today. Fortunately it hasn’t stopped some of the tougher wild flowers from making an appearance.  It was good to see some bird’s foot trefoil around, and this tiny fly was making the most of it.
