Canada Geese

Back blip

 It was wet today, but we did manage to get down to Rouken Glen for a short while, and walked in the very gentle rain, with an umbrella, and it was really lovely.  The Canada Geese were all in a big huddle, very loud and very messy.  The water lilies are beautiful just now so I had to make an extra.

We had a funny incident today, a senior moment for me I guess.  I dropped one of my rings and it appeared to go down onto the floor beside the settee.  So with Bob's help I pulled out the very heavy settee, and the table beside it, but no sign of the ring.  We ended up with all the furniture on that part of the room pulled out.  It did mean that the skirtings and the floor behind the settee got a good clean, so it was worthwhile, but still no sign of the ring.

I made us a cup of coffee and we sat trying to figure it out, when Bob noticed a glint in the rug, and there it was!!!!   Duh!!!!

Now in a cleaning mood, I cleaned the bathroom and the downstairs loo.
