The Puddle on the Path…..

This big puddle/pond is abutting the plot of native plantings which house the lop-sided pine down at the Taylor River. Although I was wearing gumboots I avoided wading through the water because I suspected there would be a thick, slippery layer of silt underneath. Everyone else was detouring around the puddle/pond. Ruby enjoyed her long walk in bright sunshine today. She was very well behaved, getting a few reminder bleeps from her “Sportdog” collar. A life changer for me. Bryan the Birman is about to jump up on my knee to remind me he needs his supper before bed.
