Quod oculus meus videt

Free Parking

Parking at our local hospital is expensive and often difficult to find a bay so my visit to the physiotherapist included parking about a mile away from the site and walking down the flight of locks on the Walsall Canal.

I couldn't quite tell if he was happy with my progress, particularly as the last two weeks have not been good in terms of pain. His approach to tendonopathy is to continue to load the ankle joint and so strengthen the muscle, tendon and ligaments.  He is happy at the progress I've made with the exercises so he wants me to increase the loading and repetitions over the next month.

I managed to get home before the rain started. I'm sure we didn't have enough, but it was still welcome and by the forecast, we have more to come.

These geese took great pleasure in crowding the footpath under the bridge. In the past I would have been wary of getting so close, particularly as this will have been a flock rom the same family with youngsters. Fortunately, they seem quite used to humans walking between them and hardly lifted a beak in warning.
