Knotted Tree

I was fascinated by the twists and knots on this tree - I presume that it is ivy that has wrapped itself around the trunk - looks to be more ivy than tree!!

I had a (bus) trip to Wetherby this morning to collect a pair of walking trousers that had had a new zip sewn in after the old one broke. A fab little ‘tailor’ / alteration shop - it cost me £17 which was less than half the price of a new pair of trousers and you would be hard pressed to tell it has been replaced (apart from the fact that it works). Bargain…
