Last supper

A pre-op assessment for G. A long way to go to give blood ... but it turned out to be more than that. Several viles of blood and lots of other samples, ECG, BMI and BP measured, discussion and reassurance about tomorrow's op: It all took some time but definitely worth it. A much happier man accompanied me on the return trip.  

We decided to go to town for a sandwich,  then saw the lunch time deal in Sark, too good to miss. I rarely snap food,  but thought this was worth a picture to share with the family. It tasted as good as it looked. A fine last supper for G before his fast for tomorrow. 

Home to relax then watch the first episode of this year's Sewing Bee.  Pleats in the first week ... a very talented bunch of contestants!
