A man my son
The Youngest had a leaving barbecue at school this evening, but due to the inclement weather they had The Do indoors.
Judging by the state of them when we came to collect, it was no less fun for that.
In between times, m’boy and I headed out for dinner. I haven’t seen him much lately, so it was nice to have a bit of one-to-one time with him and catch up.
Conversation ranged from football to what it means to “be a man”. I was very proud of his thoughts on the latter and deeply ashamed of the former (it still hurts that he chose to support Chelsea instead of West Ham).
Lovely evening and excited that the summer holidays will be starting at the end of this week.
