Orchard

This overgrown compound is just outside my office door. It is part of the old walled garden and orchard that belonged to the old Lews Castle (you can see a bit of the high wall in the background). Part of the campus is sited on a corner of the walled garden, although it is wildly overgrown now. I keep hoping that we can find a good use for the area - perhaps a recreational area, or the site of some student des-res? Ah well, live in hope.
