Just A Speck In The Distance
I had a busy morning. The cleaning stuff arrived for the dishwasher so I ran the cleaning programme. It took hours.
While I was at it I thought I might as well
- descale the kettle
- descale the Tassimo
- descale the en suite drench showerhead
- change the kitchen water filter
I also phoned Samsung to organise a warranty repair on my not so smart watch which has been playing up since the last software upgrade.
After lunch we finalised another Ocado delivery. Daughter#1 and the gang are coming on Friday, so we had to get some different things in - CocoPops, bagels etc
So we haven't been out anywhere, although it's been dry and warmer again today after yesterday's downpours. There's been a lot of activity up above, probably in preparation for RIAT at the weekend. So every now and then I rushed out to the garden with the camera hoping for a plane blip. There were some very loud jets but they never quite got close enough. I got better at focussing on small flying objects though. It's sharp if you go large :-)
In other news I had an email from Thames Water explaining about the hosepipe ban from 22 July. But .... based on my circumstances and place on their priority services register (?), this hosepipe ban will not apply to me. I can continue using water as normal around our home and garden! Hmmm, I don't think so, I'm already feeling a bit guilty about all the water I have used today in the above wet activities.
Oh, I've just put the bins out too.
