Flight Tracking

Today Julia, Sam, Alice and Ralph set off on a great adventure.  They were off to Majorca for a holiday, and it was the very first time Alice and Ralph had flown.
No real sleep - leaving home at 3.30 am for a 6.30 am flight from Manchester to Palma with Jet2.  All boarded and ready to go at 6.15 am - then a 'technical problem' was identified and the flight departure was put back to 8.30 - then 9.00.  It was then decided to disembark everyone and seek out another aircraft which took until 11.30.  They eventually took off at 12.44 - a delay of over 6 hours..... Total journey time from leaving home to reaching their holiday destination was 14 ½ hours ... just to get to Spain.  At least the sun was shining when they got there :-)
