A walk in the park

Up early to get the train in and be sure of being in good time for my first meeting. Caught the bus to the corner of the park and started the day with a walk across to Western Campus and the Law School which is built on the former site of Leeds Grammar School. It's much easier to get the customary lift with Mr EAnn but the walk is some compensation.
A demanding day and a long one. Ended with a meeting with the new boss. Very encouraging - fingers crossed. However I ended up on a latish train home and it was delayed. Tired.
Sounds as though the surprise birthday dinner was a great success and today the present from us was a flight for dad (him at the joystick). Sounds as though that was an even greater success. They are both obsessed with flying. Mr EAnn will be home around 11. I shall be pleased to have him home.
