Archie has come to stay

My sister is going to the Scillies with her daughter and her 3 kids, so Archie has come to stay with me. He's nearly 14 and had to have his eye removed several years ago, but my girls think he's lovely.
It's been drizzling most of the day, haven't been out much except for the dog walks. 
Been doing a few jobs around the house, finally got around to patching up the ceiling in the spare room where I had the leak. The ceiling is papered in there so I had to try and patch it up as best I could. I haven't hung wall paper for many years and never put paper on a ceiling. So glad I was only patching a smallish area as it's quite difficult trying to get paper straight and stuck to the ceiling above my head. Well it's up and at least it looks better than it did. Might get around to painting it sometime ;-)
