Heads and Tails

Chicken drama last night, their automatic dawn til dusk door had failed and at 11:30 pm was wide open. This is bad as there is at least one local fox.

I changed the batteries which helped a bit but then it decided to break in another way. So I was in the chicken run at 11:30 last night Jerry rigging the door closed by torchlight. Very annoying. I had a slightly uneasy night as I hate the thought of the chickens getting torn to bits by a fox.

I was even more concerned when I went out at 6:30 this morning and the door was open there was no sign of the chickens! Turns out
I was being a muppet and the chickens were just hiding under their house! The door had started working and when I tested it ( made it dark ) it seemed to be fine, very odd.

Good progress on some businesses stuff today, interesting times ahead !
