Little poppy

On Monday my wife came home with several kilos of Mirabelle de Nancy plums, and I started to turn them into jam yesterday, tonight was the second batch - and there is at least one more batch to go. Yesterday's batch has set more than tonight's which was a little runnier. French jam is naturally normally less set than English jam, but I think these plums are very-very ripe so they don't have as much pectin in as you'd expect.

Today's blip is a delicate little pink poppy growing in the garden, I blipped it at lunch time when I went into the garden. I'm not sure where this poppy came from, I think my wife said it could be from a wild-flower seed mix that went in last year. Wildflowers can be a bit of a pain to establish and do tend to do things a bit at random. Poppies don't last long, but they are pretty.
