Obsolete pond plants

The flags and yellow reeds have taken over the pond. Tomorrow I will trim some and replant. Can't find anyone who wants the remainder so the compost heap wins. The rain we had yesterday filled my barrels because I've got the neighbour's garage roofs as well as my house downpipes and I was able to fill my pond from a barrel.. But it wasn't enough on the ground tò make the slightest difference
