"By the banks of the Allan Water..."

While the rest of the UK may be sweltering  in the heat  I am sitting  beside the Allan Water river  where it is a pleasant sunny day – temp 22C.


Re. my jammed seatbelt caused by  high temperatures:
I have ordered  a new seatbelt for my 13 year old car. The garage mechanic,a very efficient and friendly young man, said he had never come across this fault before  so he was intrigued by the problem but agreed that the only solution was a new seatbelt.
