Mutant Queen

My dad got his first hive of bees a couple of months ago and has been like a little boy at Christmas when he gets to go visit them. Sadly for him this is only once a week, better than once a year for Christmas though. The large bee that you can see in the bottom right with a red dot on is the queen bee. I think she looks like a mutant freak but I guess that's up for discussion. Some days if it's hard then it's a consolation to think that at least you don't have to give birth to 2000 babies. So at least she has some excuse for looking a little odd.
