Wheatfield

Unexpectedly wet in the morning; it cleared off before I went to get the X.27 bus again. To Heriot Watt campus, which includes the wheatfield - the building in the distance is the National Robotarium. 
Visited several very dim optical research labs; the rest of the meeting was outside at one of the tables near the Grid building. There's been a lot of sowing of wildflowers in the grass edges on the campus. 

X.27 bus back again; Princes Street was very full of people. We are back in the season where it's quicker to take a bus along the street than try to walk through the crowds.
