Long day

Up early this morning as the Electrician was coming to do a full check on the wiring. This is because the electric shower has stopped working ( well it works but only on cold!) and I also wanted some extra sockets in the kitchen 

. Because of the age of the house they needed to do the full.check and then replace some of the fuse board before we could have the shower  replaced. 

The Electrician was friendly and appeared efficient but it took a long time. A few sockets  needed replacing and it took him a while to pinpoint an 'earth problem' . I got my new sockets but he hadn't time to replace the fuse board  so will have to come back. 
It was a long day for us as we couldn't do much . 

Finally sat down to eat then watch a film and the sound wasn't working on the tv. Lots of checking the sockets etc . The light was on so I knew there was power. Finally I "unplugged it and plugged it in again" and it worked .....Why????

As it grew dark went to switch the lamps on ... no power! Messaged the Electrician 
Time for bed
