Rock Art
This is an image of a small linoprint which I made based on the rock art of Britain. An indoor image today as very wet outside when we went for our walk.
British rock art primarily consists of carvings of abstract and geometric symbols, particularly cup-and-ring marks, found on natural rock surfaces. These carvings, predominantly from the Neolithic and Early Bronze Age, are concentrated in the northern regions of Britain, with major clusters in Scotland, Northumberland, and Yorkshire.
