Gentle Colours

A rather handsome Comma butterfly perching on some dead vegetation makes for a harmonious blend of colours.
Rather warm and steamy  by a different stretch of the River Derwent this afternoon, Calver to Froggatt and back.
Had an amazing view of a kingfisher zooming upstream. Mid zoom it dived for a fish, missed it, did a speedy 360 degrees and continued on its way!
