Over a barrel

I went to art this morning then to O's house.  I has broken up school and as her mum and dad are working, I took her to Chirk Castle.

We had taken picnics which we ate before she went to play in the playground. We then walked round the gardens and woodland.  

There are lots of attractive corners in the grounds such as the one that I've blipped. The flowers were beautiful and there were lots of butterflies and bees around.  A sharp rain shower started just as we got back to the car so we timed it well.

This evening F is coming over for a meal and we're going to watch the England v Sweden match in the Women's Euros afterwards. It's the knockouts now so fingers crossed!
