View from Skeggy Pier

Last night was very good. After our meal we had a few drinks in the garden of the Jolly Brewer pub. They had an open mic night and though it wasn't that well attended, it was amazing to see how much real and diverse musical talent there is in our local area.

I just about managed to be up and out of the door in time for an 8.40 appointment at the GP surgery. I was in and out pretty quickly.

I went into town to pick up my prescription from Boots and bought a couple of things I needed to get.

Then Brian and I drove over to Skegness for the day. I was quite tired and just relaxed on the journey over, ready for a good walk on the beach. I've done well over 20000 steps today! 

For lunch I had Veggie Delite from Subway and Brian had fish and chips again of course. Later I had an iced lolly instead of the usual ice cream.

It rained on the way home, but fortunately our washing was dry when we got back! I'm now relaxing on the sofa with a warm and sleepy Minstrel on my lap.
