a green and bobbly leaf

Today's leaf belongs to a plant whose name I don't know. I must have planted it when we first move it. It dies off each winter and returns each spring with large, bright, bobbly leaves.
Tennis in the morning, where I learned once again that I can easily be beaten by those much much older than me. Out for lunch with M - upcoming house sale was our pretext . Terrific spaghetti vongole followed by light, sweet, creamy sticky toffee pudding. A quiet evening followed as we were more or less unable to  move.
