Seeing Double

The little solar fountain in our pond kept stopping last week. It must be a loose connection or something as I just need to lift the cable to the solar panel and it starts again. I've sprayed the connections with WD40 to no avail. 
So I bought a second solar fountain so that one is probably running if the other has stopped - and the first one has hardly stopped since!! It's as though it's decided to behave itself now it has competition.
