Dual Purpose!
Lansdown Cricket Club "Green"/Bath RUH Emergency Helipad!!
This morning received a call saying Dad would be discharged tomorrow so took the two bus route into Bath to the RUH to make sure the necessary support was in place.
Ended up staying 4hrs for physio assessment and to talk to the doc. Physio has now made a referral for a package of care for a morning carer. However the referral won't go through until tomorrow and then there'll be a wait for carer availability, which could be up to a week, so Dad is going nowhere for the time being. Whether or not we'll also receive support from Hospital at Home on discharge remains to be seen.
But of course by tomorrow all of the above might've changed again...
An overcast and very muggy day of 23 degrees, though felt much hotter, after a muggy night, with another to follow.
Thank you for all your recent kind words, stars and hearts.
PS Received a message from S this evening saying she had just heard that in the region of Hannover there are currently 187 stork couples, the biggest number ever! Most of them in Neustadt, Wunstorf and Garbsen. So I was in the stork capital of Germany!
