Ham House
Today started with me having my second dose of the Shingles vaccination. Then Jill and I drove to the National Trust Property - Ham House which is very close to the Thames between Kingston and Richmond. We arrived mid-morning and we had a good look around the gardens. We had an early lunch outside the Orangery cafe. It was mainly overcast but the temperature was rather nice compared to recent days. We then had a walk around the House. There were some amazing rooms with very ornate ceilings and wonderful tapestries. We then had a short walk along the river and sat with an icecream watching some boaters trying to row in a straight line.
My arm is now starting to throb and quite painful when I lift it. An early night for me.
