Dursley
Theo had another Nursery day. I took myself off on the bus to Dursley. An old market town connected to Cam and Lower Cam to form a larger residential and business area.
It has done incredibly old buildings but the high street has its fair share of Charity shops.
I enjoyed an iced latte and flapjack in The Bank, no suprises to discover it’s now a cafe converted from an old bank.
It was tricky walking Theo home from nursery as the pushchair was out of action. He didn’t want to hold my hand, he didn’t like me holding the back of his t-shirt, he wanted to run over everyone’s gardens and scream at all the crows. Fortunately it’s not far, I ended up carrying him most of the way, he’s no light weight.
We enjoyed cake and a cold drink when got home. We sat outside for a while cooling off. See extra.
I made dinner just as Charlotte arrived home.
