Best Birthday Present Ever!

Rain! At Last. Not enough but some is much better than none.

It was my birthday. 77. Our outing was to Beacon Hill Café for latte and cake. Gill came after we got back. We haven't met since New Year, or was it Christmas. She and Geoffrey have been on cruises since then. She gave me two jars of chutney for my present, for which I was grateful. We have made a date for afternoon tea in early August.

Anyway, a few dog walkers came into the café. The dogs were sodden. I explained that Carole at Farmhouse Kennels, Osgathorpe, was breeder of Gordon Setters.
