Showing off

It was warm and very humid today. I did go to my Pilates class and then pottered in the garden for a bit.
On my walk with Max I spotted the Red Admral showing off in the sun. I have not seen many Red Admirals and Peacock Eyes this year, so this was nice to see. 
In the evening we went to a friend's birthday party, a very pleasant get together with friends over some wine and great food,  whilst sitting in the garden.
