Sports day

Woke up a little fuzzy headed this morning, but had to pull it together for a trip down to Leigh Sports Village for a meeting with the team.

We’ve not all been in the same room for a while, so it was nice to have a catch up and get a briefing on what everyone has been up to.

Always like looking over the football pitch and remembering a couple of trips down here to watch the Women’s Premier League and remembering that a few of the lionesses have played here.

After that it was a drive back up the M6 to get some bits done, pop out and then head to football for an extended session, which was a particularly sweaty one. I think my walk home was trailed by spots of perspiration.

Suffice it to say that I wasn’t good for much after that!
