A Bugs Life

I was putting up the washing line this morning and found this little green resident clinging to the aluminium stay. The i-phone image does not do it justice or render it crystal clear, but, as they say, "the best camera is the one you have with you". I think it is a grasshopper, which is bit odd as all our grass is brown and has stopped growing in the drought which has not yet been declared yet in the east of England.  I hope this little critter survives....I hung our washing out around it so it had space to move.
