Families

Tonight's show was "theatre" -- actually just a conversation between two women about family and how the meaning of it has changed. One of them is three times separated with children from three different fathers, the other half of a lesbian couple who want to have a child via IVF. It was a moderately interesting discussion, but there was nothing particularly original about it. Luckily the show was quite short.

Earlier, we'd been for a wine-tasting/apero at Sue's friend Gill's -- she has rented a house here for the past couple of summers and did so again despite Sue's absence. Having to leave early to go to the show saved us from over-indulgence in the copiously flowing wine.
