That’s it

My boss Darren presented me with a 25 years service award.
How did that happen?
My first meeting with him was 15 years ago when he told me I was on the redundancy list.
Dodged that bullet and have been dodging them ever since.
He drove me home from Abingdon and I think it’s the longest time I’ve ever spent with him.
And now he’s my ex boss so I suppose that record will never be beaten.
Retirement feels weird - but I’m only a few hours into it…
