Baby Sun Rose

A rather sweet name for this succulent plant with triangular leaves and daisy-like pink/red flowers. The plant's more formal name is Mesembryanthemum Cordifolium.

A brief walk in Maxwell Park to check on the life on the pond. The extra is a photo of the Tuftie family I posted on the 1st July  so the youngsters are probably about three weeks old .... they do grow very quickly.
