Crazywell Cross
Lovely on the moor this morning after the overnight rain. Sun and cloud but not too hot. This is Crazywell Cross. Its exact original position is not known but is believed to be in the immediate vicinity. It has been restored and is on the route sometimes referred to as the Monks path. Several other crosses lie along this route which was once an ancient crossing used by monks travelling between Buckfast Abbey, Buckland Abbey and Tavistock Abbey.
