Herman

Herman Konink is 71 and has been an entrepreneur all his life. He was self employed in a couple of very different industries. He started at a young age in a car garage, the company he took over from his dad. After that he went into antiques trade, had a fish shop and a video rental store. All of which he did with a lot of passion. When the rental of videos went down because of the downloading of movies he stopped his store. He started trading in statues and decoration material and by coincidence he came across a trade in display mannequins. And before he knew it this became his new specialization. Now he's had this business, Konink etalagepoppen, for about 8 years and he only just recently carried it over to his son. But that doesn't keep him from working and helping out wherever he can.
