Pond Skater

A bonus pond skater in this waterlily shot. We planted up our new pond in September last year so we are delighted to see that the 2 waterlilies have survived the winter. This one was several new leaves unfurling. This is the second flower. The pond skaters just appeared this spring and seem to have settled in whizzing around the surface.
