Bridge

As it turns out, the standard Modbus integration in Home Assistant has some limitations that renders it unusable for integrating the airconditioning system. I’ve been working on a bridge: a Python script that does the complicated communications with the airconditioner’s modbus interface on one end and an MQTT interface on the Home Assistant side. It’s progressing nicely and I’m already able to view some things in Home Assistant.
