Still there

This evening I saw this big beast again, after a couple of months. I had seen the big holes, but no nutria/coypu (Latin: Myocastor coypus).
Did you know that they can grow to 1 metre long and 8 kilo heavy? And that they are not native here, but instead are considered damaging, because of their destructive burrowing? They are actively hunted in the Netherlands (and in Germany by Dutch hunters too), in order to protect the dikes that make the Netherlands habitable.
Still, they are cute too (as long as they don't attack humans or pets).
