Somethings missing

Sommats missing from this, what is it?

I'm constantly amazed at the rapid, if not breakneck, speed at which technology progresses. 
Remember floppy disks? It's not that long ago in real terms that they became obsolete, and I was shocked to find out that they are still used for navigation updates on manyJumbo jets ,
