Day 6

Doug had the brilliant idea of bringing over my tablet, so that I could watch movies and TV that I might actually like!   He's so thoughtful. 

Physical therapy had not planned to visit me today, but the lovely doctor who is overseeing my care told them they had to. So I worked with a different therapist and I actually managed to walk across the room, using one of those upright walkers with wheels on one side. (Extra
)  It took about all the energy I had to do that, but I'm feeling really optimistic now that I'll actually be able to  get back on my feet. 

I'll have my dialysis here tomorrow and then I'll probably move to rehab on Monday. but as you may know hospitals don't do a lot on weekends. so I'll have to try practice walking with one of the nurses to keep me company.
