Evening light

I went out to pick some kale for another smoothie tonight, after picking W up at the bus drop off (gov. center), and the flowers in the garden were picking up the last light. It had rained and the sky did have a glow. Extra is five minutes earlier, driving through town on the way home.

Quite a day today - W. and I attended a citizenship ceremony with a friend from work. It was her husband getting his citizenship. Folks from all over the world...it was all very interesting. I talked with a woman from Uzbekistan (where I'd visited almost 30 years ago), and she became part of our little group as we took pictures outside. Afterwards, a lunch feast at a Turkish cafe that is becoming a favorite.
