Wednesday - Annecy ~ South of France

Via Sisteron.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Annecy but now for our next adventure.  We were on the road just after 8am and headed to Sisteron for a half way stop to the South.  The route took us cross country and some wonderful views were had.

Arrived in Sisteron about 11.15.  We had a walk around in the hot sun, bought a baguette and cold drink and sat on a bench to eat our lunch, another walk around and then time to hit the road again.  We managed to see some Provence lavender and also passed Verdon lac , stopped both times for a quick photo shoot.

Think it was 4pm by the time we arrived at our apartment for the next 5 nights.  We had a walk along the front, grabbed a pizza and then called it a night.
