2025 Friday — Returning from Cambria

This photo was captured today on our way home from Cambria, the little coastal city 12 miles north of our little town of Cayucos. My piano teacher lives in Cambria. Today was my 10th piano lesson. Every week I learn something new and I find it all very fascinating and meaningful. I’m enjoying practicing the piano every day.

The sadness in our house is overwhelming after saying goodbye to our little Mitzi girl on Monday afternoon. Our house feels so empty without her. She was a little canine with a big personality. Chloe pup seems confused, bewildered and definitely depressed. I am trying to get her out of the house and active every day, so that her health does not go downhill. Actually we are trying to get ourselves out of the house every day. We are not adjusting to the loss of our pet; she was so much more than a pet.
